Reverend Judith Toffey

Interim Minister

I was born in Waterbury, CT and attended St. John’s on the Green. Later we moved to Wolcott where my father and others decided Wolcott needed an Episcopal church of its own. He was on the original Vestry and Building Committee. Recently All Saints’ celebrated their 50th anniversary.

I attended colleges in Boston receiving a B.A. in English from UMass/Boston, an M.S. in Counseling from Boston University and an M.Div. from Episcopal Divinity School, Cambridge.

After teaching at Boston English High School for 10 years, I sensed a call to ministry. After ordination, I served churches in New Bedford, MA, All Saints’, Oakville, Trinity, Trumbull, St. Mary’s, Manchester, St. Paul’s, Southington, and presently as Interim at St. Michael’s.  I served as a missionary teaching Christianity at the Ahliyaah School for Girls in Amman, Jordan and traveled throughout the Holy Land, Egypt and Syria for two years.

While I live in Watertown, my sister, her husband, my nephew and his wife all live here in Naugatuck. It is a pleasure to be here as I look forward to serving the church as they discern the call of a new rector.
